Edgbaston Council, based at the Yenton Masonic Centre, has welcomed a new member into the Council – Companion Paul Wheeler, who is well known to many throughout the Craft and Royal Arch. The ceremonies of Select Master and Royal Master were conducted by Thrice Illustrious Master Richard Jaffa, assisted in the Select Master ceremony by the Past District Grand Master, R Ill Comp David Rawlins, and in the Royal Master ceremony by Ill Comp Hosey Davoudian, visiting from Warwickshire Council. Although a number of the regular attendees from the Council were unable to attend, the ceremonies were smoothly executed, and Companion Paul greatly enjoyed becoming a part of our wonderful order.
The Thrice illustrious Master, Ill Comp Richard Jaffa, now lives in London, and drives down to the Midlands and other venues for the majority of his masonic engagements. Pictured above is our DGM, R Ill Comp Peter Wellings, accompanied by Comp Paul Mason, Deputy Master, Ill Comp Richard Jaffa, TIM, Comp Paul Wheeler, Comp Peter Clarke, PCW, Ill Comp Paul Harrison, Deputy DGM, & Ill Comp Chris Rogers, District PCW. Following his election, Comp Paul Mason will be installed as Thrice Illustrious Master on Tuesday 3rd May 2022.
Being one of the few Warwickshire Councils meeting in the morning, this was a great way of spending the morning!
Please note that face coverings were worn throughout the meeting, except for the photograph.
