District Grand Council of Warwickshire

Royal & Select Masters

The October meeting of Edgbaston Council saw Comp Paul Wheeler expertly taken through the Most Excellent and Super Excellent Master ceremonies, by Thrice Illustrious Master, Ill Comp Paul Mason, who was installed in May this year. Since then, Paul was determined that he was going to undertake both ceremonies himself, and certainly delivered both in a highly professional and confident manner. R Ill Comp Peter Wellings, District Grand Master, and a member of Edgbaston Council, congratulated Comp Paul Wheeler on completion of the ceremonies, and most warmly congratulated Ill Comp Paul Mason on a superb accomplishment and outstanding execution of the two rituals.
Ill Comp Paul Harrison, Deputy District Grand Master, acted in place of the Deputy Master, Comp Peter Clarke, who was engaged on other masonic business, whilst Ill Comp Chris Rogers, District Principal Conductor of the Work, also a member of the Council, assisted throughout the meeting as Conductor of the Council. The meeting was well supported by a good number of District Officers.
One of the highlights of a most enjoyable meeting was the proposal of three candidates and a joining member, in a boost to an already thriving council. At the December meeting of the Council, at least two of the candidates will be received into the Council.

Pictured accompanying the District Grand Master are Paul Harrison, Paul Mason, Paul Wheeler, and John Hayward, P.C.W. with thanks to Ill Comp Philip Gough, Director of Ceremonies, for the photograph.
