A very interesting paper describing the foundation of Royal and Select Masters in the United States and then Canada was delivered at the May meeting of St Martins Council.

R Ill Comp Andrew Sweeney, P G Chancellor, not only deputised as Thrice Illustrious Master, but also presented the Historical paper in the presence of R Ill Comp Peter Wellings.

The election of the Thrice Illustrious Master, which takes place in July, saw Ill Comp Dennis Potter, Deputy Master, elected for the year ahead.
