Saturday 20th September 2025 saw Masonic history in the making, when a current R&SM Grand Master was for the first time installed as Master of a Lodge within the UGLE University Scheme.
Omnium Lodge No.10005 is the Open University Lodge, where VW Bro Kessick John Jones, the M Ill Grand Master of the Order of Royal and Select Masters, enjoyed the honour and privilege of being installed as Worshipful Master. Omnium is a Cheshire Lodge, originally intended to be peripatetic, but this grand day in London was the first occasion since its Consecration that it ventured outside of Chester!
The event was a shared occasion with the David Kenneth Williamson Lodge No. 9938, being the vehicle in which twenty years of the University Scheme was also celebrated by many visiting and member dignitaries.
VW Bro Kessick had very kindly invited his RSM District Grand Masters to what he knew was going to be a good day out, with several attending and indeed thoroughly enjoying a splendid occasion.
