Once again, it is obvious just how much our own DGM, R Ill Comp Peter Wellings and his team get around many parts of the country, Below is a photograph with many other DGMs at the commencement of the East Midlands District Meeting in Northampton.

The East Midlands DGM, R Ill Comp Martin Wilson presided over the meeting in his usual efficient manner.  There were 19 District Grand Masters present.   Present with our DGM were Ill Comp Peter Stokes, Deputy District Grand Master and Ill Comp Chris Denley, District Grand Principal Conductor of the Work, Ill Comp Paul Fernandez,-Montes, District Grand Recorder, and E Comp John Hayward, District Grand Almoner.

The main part of the meeting was the installation of the District Deputy Master – Ill Comp Ian Johnson, promoted from District Grand Principal Conductor of the Work, whilst Ill Comp Philip Marshall was appointed to the vacated office.  Interesting to note that Ill Comp Philip Marshall has only recently retired as Provincial Grand Master for the Craft Province of Nottinghamshire.

The District Grand Master with his top team, just before lunch commences, again very efficiently served, meaning that before 3.00pm all had departed.
