At the December meeting of Edgbaston Council, Comp David M Clarke, a member of Wretham Council received his Most Excellent Master and Super Excellent Master degrees in Edgbaston Council.

Administrative business done, Thrice Illustrious Master Ill Comp John Hayward invited Ill Comp Kevin Spencer, TIM, Wretham Council to take the chair for the Most Excellent Master ceremony, which he performed in a most superb manner. For the ceremony of Super Excellent Master, Ill Comp Paul Mason, DofC, took the chair, and delivered a perfect ceremony. John Hayward thanked all who took part in the ceremonies for their excellent work, and commented that it was good to have ceremonies to conclude the year for the Council.
Following the ceremonies, the elections for next year took place, with Ill Comp Philip Wills elected as Thrice Illustrious Master, and Comp Derek Sara elected as Treasurer.
A very pleasant morning was enjoyed by a good number of Companions present, and following an equally enjoyable festive lunch, John Hayward thanked all present for their support and wished them all the best for the festive season and the year ahead.
