The Vesey Council August meeting was another full meeting with a Most Excellent Master ceremony, expertly undertaken by R Ill Comp David Rawlins, PastDGM.  This was for Companions Andrew Leonard and Dewi Jones.  Following this, there was a joint talk by Ill Companion Peter Stokes, Deputy DGM, and R Ill Companion Cliff Bull. Past DepDGM, entitled “Making the Most of the Perambulations in the Royal Master Degree”.  Ill Mike Neville, a visiting Companion acted as Deputy Master throughout the evening.  Photograph below shows those participating in the joint presentation:

After the ceremony and presentations, Comp Adrian Middleton was elected as Thrice Illustrious Master for the year ahead, which actually starts with his Installation in June 2026!

There were 22 members present which for an August evening is a very good attendance.  Ill Comp Chris Denley, District PCW, acted as Presiding Officer in the absence of the R Ill Comp Peter Wellings, DGM, and congratulated all present on an excellent meeting and wished the Council all the best for the future.
