At the Vesey Council Installation, Ill Comp David Evans was proclaimed as Thrice Illustrious Master for a second year, which he was happy to accept. Ill Comp Bob Ballard remained as Deputy Master also for a second year and Comp Adrian Middleton became Principal Conductor of the Work.
Despite being appointed Principal Conductor of the Work, Comp Adrian continued as Captain of the Guard for the night. Ill Comp Cliff Bull acted as PCW for the evening.
The Candidate for Select Master was Comp Andrew Leonard in a very well conducted ceremony, which impressed all present. For the ceremony, The TIM invited Ill Comp James Freakley to act as Thrice Illustrious Master, and to conduct the ceremony for his candidate. All present were most impressed with the ceremonial aspects of the meeting. The District Grand Master, R Ill Comp Peter Wellings was present and congratulated the Candidate on becoming a Warwickshire Royal & Select member, and congratulated the members of the Council for a splendid example of how a ceremony should be performed. Also present were Ill Comp Chris Denley, District Grand Principal Conductor of the Work, and other Acting District Officers. At the festive board, Comp Andrew Leonard – gave an excellent response to his toast.
