District Grand Council of Warwickshire

Royal & Select Masters

The June meeting of Beauchamp Council, held at Guy’s Cliffe, was attended by nearly 30 Companions, who enjoyed seeing the Select and Royal ceremonies conferred upon W Bro Hardip Ubhi. TIM David Stanford conducted the ceremonies throughout, with Deputy Master John Hill acting as PCW for the Royal degree.
One of the visitors, Ill Comp Bill Clark, was even moved to penning the following poem:

THANK YOU

AS A VISITOR GUEST TO BEAUCHAMP COUNCIL LAST NIGHT
I WAS MOST PRIVILEGED TO WITNESS A LOVELY SIGHT
COUNCIL MEMBERS AND VISITORS UNITED AS ONE
IN PEACE LOVE AND HARMONY WITH WORK TO BE DONE

WITH THE DISTRICT GRAND MASTER IN ATTENDANCE AS WELL
AS A MEMBER — UNDER SOME PRESSURE — DIFFICULT TO TELL
THE PROCEEDINGS WERE PERFORMED BY ALL WITH AFFECTION
TEAMWORK IN ABUNDANCE RESULTING IN RITUAL—PERFECTION

FOR THE CANDIDATE AN EXPERIENCE HE WILL NEVER FORGET
FOR THOSE PRESENT AN EVENING OF PLEASURE NO REGRET(s)
IN MASONIC TERMS IT WAS A MOST HARMONIOUS NIGHT
WITH BROTHERLY LOVE AND AFFECTION–EVERYTHING JUST RIGHT

THE FESTIVE BOARD WAS A MEMORABLE SIGHT
A LOVELY ATMOSPHERE AS BEFITTING THE NIGHT
THANK YOU AND PLEASE INVITE US ANOTHER TIME
FOR A FURTHER MASONIC GOOD TIME

Thank you Bill, your poem tells it all and the members of Beauchamp thoroughly look forward to your next visit.
