Royal & Select Masters Sesquicentenary Celebrations

Tuesday 3rd October saw the Grand Temple at Great Queen Street packed with over 800 members of the Order of Royal and Select Masters, literally from all over the world.  This has been described as a ‘Once in a Generation Celebration of Cryptic Freemasonry’ – the 150th (Sesquicentenary) of the formation of the R&SM Grand Council.

R&SM Warwickshire District Annual Sunday Lunch

The Warwickshire District Sunday Lunch has been a firm favourite with Companions and their families since its inception by Past District Grand Master David Rawlins. It is held towards the end of September, and often enjoys good weather to appreciate the surrounding countryside.

Grafton Council Defies Railway Disruption

Grafton Council of Anointed Kings No. 16 shrugged off concerns about the railway strikes taking place the day before and after their February meeting at Mark Masons Hall, with a splendid turnout for the various schedules taking place.

Warwickshire Annual District Meeting – with a Demonstration – off with a Bang!

The annual meeting of Warwickshire District Royal & Select Masters took place on Saturday 5th November, launched with a symbolic bang on Bonfire Night by our District Grand Master R Ill Comp Peter Wellings.

A very well-attended meeting welcomed eleven District Grand Masters and members of seventeen Districts to the Rugby Masonic Hall, to be refreshed with coffee and bacon baps.

Sunday Lunch Success

Wishaw Country Sports once again provided splendid service and a very sumptuous carvery at this ever popular social occasion in September, which was as usual filled to capacity. Those “in the know” always book early as they know how quickly it sells out.

Grand Occasion at Grand Council

The Annual Meeting of Grand Council, held at Freemasons’ Hall, Great Queen Street, London in April, was again extremely well attended by Warwickshire Companions keen to support their friends receiving appointment to, or promotion in, Grand Rank from the Grand Master.

Warwickshire visit to the District of Cumberland & Westmorland
