Finally, after three years in the Thrice Illustrious Master’s chair, Ill Comp David Ursell was able to install Ill Comp Eric Rymer as his successor in an impeccable ceremony.
Edgbaston Council Installation 2022
The Installation in Edgbaston Council saw well known Companion Paul Mason, Provincial Grand Almoner in the Mark Degree, installed as Thrice Illustrious Master in a well-attended meeting at the Yenton Rooms.
Helping Hand from Warwickshire
At their April Installation meeting Warwickshire Council 148 had a full schedule to follow, with not only the Installation ceremony but also conferral of the Most Excellent Master and Super Excellent Master degrees.
Victoria Council – First Meeting since 2020
Victoria Council, meeting in Leamington Spa, held their first meeting for a full two years, and managed with some assistance from several members of the District team to hold their delayed Installation, and a demonstration of the Most Excellent Master ceremony.

Wretham Council – Burns Night Supper with the Ladies Invited
After a short Wretham Council meeting, all present assembled in the dining room with their Ladies, and prepared for an entertaining evening celebrating the birth of the Scottish poet Rabbie Burns. They were not disappointed!
Warwickshire Council – Most & Super Excellent Master Degrees
Warwickshire Council, based at the Knowle Masonic Centre, at their first meeting of 2022, performed amazing Most Excellent & Super Excellent Ceremonies with a little help and support from the District.
Edgbaston Council Exaltation for a well-known Companion
Edgbaston Council, based at the Yenton Masonic Centre, has welcomed a new member into the Council – Companion Paul Wheeler, who is well known to many throughout the Craft and Royal Arch.
DGM Swansong at Edgbaston
The retiring District Grand Master, Right Illustrious Companion David Rawlins, attended the October meeting of Edgbaston Council 285, which saw the Installation of Ill.Comp. Richard Jaffa as Thrice Illustrious Master. This was David’s last meeting as DGM before his retirement at midnight on 5th November 2021.
